Job Description

Are you a current payroller in the Cardiff area and currently seeking a new challenge If so, our new role of Payroll Officer will be a perfect match for you!Based within a small, developed team you will be supporting with a high-volume payroll for a well-known retail brand covering multiple sites across the UK.This permanent position will require someone with strong organisation skills and a great team player! A great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills - offering the chance to achieve further strengths!Hours: 39hrs - Monday to Thursday (8:30am-5:00pm) Fridays (8:30am-4:00pm)As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for..

  • Ensuring accurate payroll support is being provided for employees across the UK and paid correctly on-time in line with statuory legislation.
  • Checking electronic starters and leavers.
  • Uploading of weekly and monthly hours for varied branches.
  • Calculating and processing SSP/SMP/SPP
  • Checking and entering of P46 & P45 tax forms.
  • Completing benefit forms.
  • Assisting with any complex queries from employees.
  • Running reports.
Personal Attributes
  • Ability to cover payroll from start to finish.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Confidence in processing high-volume payroll across multi-sites.
