Part-Qualified Assistant Accountant CardiffMy client is a forward-thinking, growing and dynamic organisation situated in Cardiff City Centre.Due to expansion, they are seeking a bright and tenacious Part-Qualified Assistant Accountant to join their team. The suitable candidate must be prepared to support the Financial Controller with a busy workload. In return, my client is prepared to offer training and support for the successful individual.Reporting into the Financial Controller on a daily basis, the successful candidate will work as part of a friendly finance team. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to the finance function and wider support services.Key responsibilities will include:1) Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts pack, supporting with month end close2) Balance sheet reconciliations3) Preparation of budgets4) Accruals/ pre-payments5) Journal entry6) Maintenance of the fixed asset register7) Over-seeing the purchase/sales ledger functions8) Getting involved with on-going projects and assist with process improvements to enhance business operationsPerson specification:1) Self-motivated and pro-active attitude2) Varied commercial background and strong business acumen3) Enthusiastic and driven4) Ability to work to tight deadlines5) Always striving for process improvements and ways of working smarterThis is a truly exciting role for someone who is looking to progress and has the desire and determination to succeed.
