Job Description

We are thrilled to be working on an exclusive basis with a highly unique and very successful financial services company in North Cardiff, who are seeking a Part Time Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.Our client is not only focused on client satisfaction, but also employee well-being too, and they have created a friendly, supportive, and healthy working environment as they believe keeping their employees happy is key to a successful business.Our client are a small company with a big vision; and are looking forward to an exciting future with the right candidate in place.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for flexible hours, however you would be expected to attend set team meetings when necessary. Hours are likely to be 20 hours per week (however potentially more depending on the candidate) and will beMonday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Working days could be flexible but would need to fit in with company needs.As a successful candidate you would be offered training and ongoing support, and will would work closely with you to ensure you are confident in all aspects of the job. They will also be happy to support with finance qualifications if this is something youwere interested in.Salary will be based on an hourly rate of £12.50 per hour, rising to £13.00 per hour after successful completion of 3-month probation. After 1 years service, the salary will rise again.The Role:

  • Answering the telephone and directing calls.
  • Contacting providers for quotes and client plan information.
  • Contacting clients to arrange their Annual Reviews & 6 monthly reviews & diarising meetings at the office or at client premises.
  • Keeping a register of reviews and due dates.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client meetings.
  • Updating valuation spreadsheets using Excel.
  • Preparing graphs using specialised FE Analytics (training will be given).
  • Responding to emails.
  • Organising meetings with providers.
  • Updating the company database.
The Person:
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Polite, positive, and professional.
  • Well organised with a thorough attention to detail.
  • Good ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence in decision making.
  • A positive attitude for greeting clients.
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Previous experience in financial services.
  • No prior convictions or bankruptcy.
