Organisation and Development Officer - Skills Policy and Just TransitionCardiff CF11£44,726 pa rising incrementally to £46,534 paContract type: Fixed term temporary contract until 31 March 2025Position type: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday - happy to talk flexible workingClosing date: Friday 06 January 2023You will be responsible for working with unions and other partners to deliver appropriate Wales TUC priorities as directed by the line manager and delivery of Wales TUC contract with Welsh Government.The successful candidate will need to demonstrate; Experience of project management Excellent interpersonal skills including building and developing strong and effective working relationships with a wide range of partner organisations. Working with Welsh Government and trade unions to develop policy and delivery initiatives in skills and just transition to a net zero carbon future. Sound grasp of current issues in trade unionism in Wales (including industrial, political, economic, equality) Ability to deliver work on target and to deadlines without close supervision. Experience in building and organising support around climate change and a just transition within the trade union movement.
