Reporting to our COO, this role is crucial for ensuring the smooth running of our BAU operational procedures including the onboarding and management of customers accounts. You will be responsible for driving efficiency and scalability of processes as the company expands rapidly, which will almost certainly include bringing new operational processes in house. The team carries responsibility for; financial crime, payments and stock reconciliation, investment operations (including fund trading) as well as looking after our ISA transfers. You will have direct oversight and accountability of all these functions. In addition, you will work closely with our existing suppliers and custodians. You will be looking after and growing a team, so expect people management to be an important feature of this role including training, mentoring and recruitmentWe would also need you to have: *A minimum of 3 A-levels (or equivalent) education*Further relevant industry qualifications - we have no specific minimum but please state which in your application. Investment qualifications would be a bonus but are not essential*Experience working in a financial services operations department is essential, doing some or all of the skills outlined in the above stated job description*An understanding of the regulatory framework under which the company operates*Experience managing a team*Excellent organisational skills*Proactive and adept at problem solving*Competent using Microsoft word, excel and PowerPointWHAT ELSE WERE LOOKING FORIt would be an advantage if you had experience:*Working in an investment management company*Working in a Pension company or department*Trading funds or stocks*Working in a CASS regulated firmWHAT YOULL GET FROM US*Between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.*24 days holiday a year - plus bank holidays (youllearn an extra day holiday for each full year youre with us,up to28 days) *Flexible working hoursin line with business needsDue to the pandemic, they are currently working from home, and all interviews will be carried out remotely.
