Job Description

Operational Support (Admin)Location: Cardiff with hybrid working offered after trainingSalary: starting from £20,000 per annumContract: PermanentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join our Operational Support Team in Cardiff, providing efficient administrative operational assistance that enables our personal injury teams to deliver a high level of client services.NewLaw is home to exceptionally talented people.   • Opening new files, including carrying out conflict checks
  • Printing and photocopying
  • Copying Discs and Scanning documents
  • File closures
  • Archiving, including retrieving files and boxes from storage.
  • Collation and preparation of files for referrer partner audits
  • Preparation of files for costing
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Processing unreferenced incoming emails in accordance with company processes
  • Answering and making telephone calls to Clients / Insurers for information
  • Booking couriers
  • Arranging meetings (internal & external)
  • Managing office and car parking bookings.
  • Checking disbursements on settlement of claims to prepare for cost draftspeople
  • Paying of invoices by cheque and BACS requests
  • Collating data and formatting the same for use in the business.
  • Running and circulating internal reports
  • General administrative tasks
About you
  • You have previous experience of working within an office environment.
  • Educated to GCSE level C in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Personal injury and/or clinical negligence experience/understanding would be highly advantageous but isnt essential.
  • Great communicator, both verbal and in writing
  • You are an experienced user of mainstream office IT (in particular MS Word and Excel) and ideally have a working knowledge of case management or CRM systems.
  • Team player with a track record of building strong, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the business.
  • Ability to work in high confidentiality to tight deadlines and multi-task in order to meet targets
In return, as Operational Support, you can expect:
  • Salary starting from £20,000, dependant on experience.
