H ere at IMG we are pleased to announce that we are looking for a Nursing Officer based out of our Cardiff Office working either Full Time or Part Time with a competitive salary of £42,000 - £48,000 (Depending on Experience & Pro Rota). The Nursing Officer will provide high quality medical care for the safe and timely case management and transfer of our clients. IMG are searching for a highly motivated nurse with aviation medicine and/or international private medical insurance (IPMI) experience to join our team. IMG is one of the worlds leading international medical insurance companies, providing individuals and corporateorganisations the reassurance and assistance services required in the event of illness or injury during their travels for business, leisure or while living overseas. The successful candidate will be joining IMG at an exciting time of development and expansion, in addition to our USA headquarters, IMG have offices in Surrey and Cardiff city UK. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work a hybrid model fromone of our UK offices after successful completion of training and probation after 6 months.What does a day in the life of a Nursing Officer at IMG look like:

• Telephone and email-based travel advice to individuals and small corporate groups.
• Management of inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Augmentation and facilitation of the transfer of insured clients & members.
• Maintenance and development of the IMG Europe medical equipment library, ensuring high standards of governance.
• Liaising with and maintaining the database of IMG Europes team of escorts.
• Working collaboratively with other subsidiaries of IMG in providing a global and integrated service.
• Provide pre-authorisation services for a range of international private medical insurance clients.

What We`re Looking for:

• Previous insurance/ Repatriation experience (Required)
• Registered general nurse on Sub part 1 of the NMC register (Required)
• 5 years post registration nursing experience in an acute field such as ICU/A&E or pre-hospital roles.
• Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously with authority, while working as part of a greater team
• must be dynamic and adaptable in response to the needs of the business.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of normal anatomy & physiology and the impact of disease, illness & injury
• Undertake a 6-month period of training & probation in one of the UK offices.
• Experience with international private medical case management and preauthorisation procedures. (Preferred)
• Have studied or working towards CCAT course or equivalent aeromedical retrieval course (Preferred)
