Job Description

Electrical Engineer Are you a Multiskilled Technician/Engineer looking for your next career move Are you looking to work on a days-based shift pattern If yes then please read on for more information on this exciting role.This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing SME manufacturer who has long term plans to develop their maintenance staff.This is what youll be doing.You will be working on a 2shift pattern taking control of a busy continuous manufacturing area covering of all aspects of machinery breakdown and upgrades.The company are looking for an experienced engineer with good knowledge of Machinery Installation, Panel building and Maintenance. Tasks will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing equipment in line with schedules and specifications to ensure reliability and limit breakdown occurrence Equipment testing, fault finding and repair
  • Report all actions carried out and any further actioned required on the CMMS system
  • Identifying recurring problems with any equipment or machinery and implementing corrective procedures.
  • Installation of New Machinery
  • Maintaining equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Work with production staff supporting and promoting all continuous improvement, quality and safety activities on site
The Experience youll bring to the team.
  • You will be multi-skilled, with the ability to fault-find and repair both mechanical and electrical fields.
  • You will have experience of completing inspection and testing work.
  • You will have completed an apprenticeship or Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineer.
  • The ability to operate workshop equipment (i.e. milling machine, surface grinder) is highly advantageous
  • A time served engineer/technician with a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Experience with FMCG machinery (Desirable)
