Monitoring & Performance Engineer (Renewable Energy) South West England (Remote Working Available) Competitive Salary + Company Pension + Private Medical + Annual Bonus + Flexible Working Do you have a background in engineering and want to be a part of a growing international business in the Renewable Energy sector that is able to provide you with a gateway into the Solar PV industry This company specialises in providing asset management, site management and technical services to the Solar PV industry and are now expanding into the Wind industry too. They were one of the first Renewable Energy businesses to go on the London Stock Exchangeand have recently expanded their business into Italy. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day and long-term monitoring of Solar Farms across the UK while working closely with an asset management team to identify and rectify site downtime/equipment failures and to accurately track the performanceof assets across their lifetime to guide the business when making key decisions. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background where they are capable of interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings, and they will have experience with using computerised monitoring systems. They will also have an interest in the RenewableEnergy sector and will be keen to develop a career involving Solar PV. The role: * Remotely monitoring assets to advise management team of site productivity/availability issues * Liaising with contractors to ensure equipment faults/errors are responded to * Working with and developing in-house reporting systems * Analysing data to identify current and historic long-term issues, faults & patterns indicating issues * Taking part in site visits a few times every year The person * Qualified to Degree/HND level in an engineering discipline * Experience with computerised monitoring systems * Computer literate and strong Excel skills * Comfortable with interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings * Full UK driving license This vacancy is being advertised by Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd.
