We are looking for a Mobile Application Developerto join their successful, stable, and growing Financial Services team. This role can be working from home.The Company considers employees as highly valued members of the business and offer an extensive benefits package plus fantastic progression opportunities for those wishing to move further in their career on a local, national, or global scale.Mobile Application DeveloperWorking from home with travel to London office at least a couple of times a month£55-65K plus extensive benefits packageTo be successful in this role:You will be a confident Mobile Application Developer with experience of working with the Dart framework - Flutter is essential. Additional skills required for this role include:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mobile App Developer
  • Experience with Android and/or iOS
  • Understanding of software development life cycle
  • Strong knowledge of different architecture approaches
  • Experience in writing secure mobile applications (OWASP Mobile Top 10)
  • Experience interacting with REST based services
  • Experience with Mobile design patterns e.g MVVM, GoF etc
  • Experience in programming languages for mobile developmente.g. Kotlin/Java or Swift / Objective
Whilst not essential, other desirable skills include:
  • Understanding and/or experience of Unit testing and test driven development
  • Knowledge of Git including Gitflow branching strategy
Position summary:Our client is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to join their Financial Services division supporting clients with their digital transformation journey. You will be engaged with leading technology platforms and modern delivery methodologies workingwith customers to guide and deliver their transformation to become digital banks. These projects span across all elements of retail banking products from web, mobile, and AI channels. Teams work very closely with client teams ensuring an agile and collaborativeapproach to bring innovation at all stages of the product development lifecycle. You will have an appetite for growth and learning supported by a global company which offers clear career planning and training. This role is working from home.Job role and responsibilities:As a Mobile Application Developer your duties will include the following activities:
  • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
  • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
  • Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
  • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
  • Design interfaces to improve user experience
  • Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
  • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
  • You can be based as working from home
