Members Business Support (MBS) are responsible for providing Members of the Senedd with advice and guidance on all aspects of financial support available to them in support of their duties as elected representatives. This includes, but is not limited to, reimbursing Members for expenses necessarily incurred in the course of their duties, assisting new Members with finding office premises, arranging travel and offering guidance on the appropriate use of Senedd resources. We are also responsible for issuing Human Resource advice and support to Members in their role as employers, as well as developing practical guidance related to other matters.If successful, you will be joining a small, friendly and hardworking team. Although overseen by a manager, you will be expected to manage your own workload and ensure claims are processed in a timely manner. You will also be expected to build good working relationships with Members and their staff and offer a courteous and informed service at all times.The rules governing financial support for Members are regularly reviewed and revised, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to this process.
