Mechanical Fitter (HGV/ PCV/ LGV) Cardiff, South Wales £25,000 - £35,000 DOE + Progression + Training + Overtime + Pension + Holiday + company benefits Are you a mechanical fitter with experience working on HGVs, PCVs, LGVs or similar, or hold a relevant NVQ level 3 On offer is an exciting and varied position within a stable multi-national company, offering training and opportunities to progress to supervisor or management positions, while also maximizing your overall earnings through additional voluntary overtime. This company are a well established multi-national transport company who have thrived throughout the covid pandemic. Due to continued growth they are looking to expand their team with a motivated mechanical fitter. In this role you will be based in the Cardiff workshop carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles. There may be the occasional requirement to travel out to a breakdown. The ideal candidate will be an engineer with experience working on HGVs, LGV, PCVs or similar. A PSV/ PCV license would also be beneficial but not required. Candidates who hold an NVQ level 3 in a related field are also encouraged to apply as training can beprovided.
