An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Medicine for a Manager (Quality and Enhancement) whose role will be to remain responsible for delivering high quality administrative services to support the quality assurance, development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes administered by the School. Specifically, the role holder will provide administrative leadership in managing the School’s regulatory annual and periodic quality monitoring exercises, to include drafting the School’s Annual General Medical Council (GMC) Monitoring Report, and the School’s Annual Review and Enhancement Report.Applicants should possess substantial experience of working within a quality and regulation focussed higher education environment whilst being able to balance multiple objectives and priorities. They will have practical knowledge and experience of working independently to plan; proactively implement a work schedule and ensure that all tasks are completed to agreed time and quality targets. They will also have a demonstrable ability to manage personal working time. Managing the work of the team efficiently and effectively is also essential.Applicants should be a proven communicator, able to communicate detailed and complex information effectively, and professionally with a wide range of people both verbally and in written format.
