Job Description

You will direct the Shipping and Maintenance team in the planning and Coordination of all activities associated with the terminal and will have overall supervision of both.Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to;

  • Planning and ensuring the completion of work orders by the Shipping/Maintenance team.
  • Conducting general systems maintenance and troubleshooting issues raised by the Shipping/Maintenance team.
  • Identifying potential high-level problems and reporting them to the Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Supervising ongoing electrical & mechanical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.
  • Ensuring performance and safety targets are maintained & compliance with all statutory, contractual, quality, legal & SHEQ standards.
  • Positively working with all staff including external personnel and contractors ensuring work is completed correctly, safely, within the agreed timeframe.
  • Provide out of hours support for shipping if required.
  • Participate in SHEQ investigations.
Skills and attributes for success will include but not limited to;
  • Good planning skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Health and Safety experience.
  • Fully qualified time served electrical or mechanical maintenance apprenticeship (or similar)
  • Proficient with all MS Packages including Excel.
  • Experience of using CMMS systems.
  • Demonstratable relevant market experience.
