Job Description

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Life Journey Work Practitioner to work in Cardiff. This position is initially for a period of 4 months and is paying £13.70 (PAYE) or £17.14 (umbrella) per hour. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am- 5pm.The role: Life Journey support workers working closely with childrens social workers providing life journey work for children and young people whose plan is adoption.You will work with children, foster carers, adopters and staff in the Vale Valleys and Cardiff Adoption Consortium to ensure that all necessary information is available for children to understand their journey prior to being adopted. You will also work closelywith the regional co-ordinator to ensure that good practice is shared across the region when completing individual life journey books and developing resources for other practitioners to use. Although working autonomously, you will receive regular supervisionand support.You will have experience of working with children, young people and their families. You will have knowledge and understanding of different methods of engaging with children and young people.You will need to be able to travel across the City meeting service users and their families.Applicant Requirements: Qualifications:
