Job Description

Are you a Lead Data Engineer looking for a new role where you will have the autonomy to manage and shape a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and support. IntaPeople are delighted to be partnered with a Fintech to scale up their team inCardiff as they embark on a huge global acquisition.Based in the heart of Cardiff, they are a thriving fintech creating asset management equipment finance software for a range of multinational clients, their software is well proven all over Europe.About the company…

About the role…
  • Working closely and successfully with cross functional teams such as BA’s, Stakeholders, engineers and customers to understand the data they are receiving.
  • Shaping the data engineering team, mentoring and developing junior engineers.
  • You will help define data strategy whilst designing and build data models.
  • Managing and leading a team of data engineers whilst providing technical guidance.
  • You will identify and resolve any data quality issues.
  • Drive the data transformation models and capabilities.
About you…
  • You will have strong communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of data modelling and database design.
  • You will have strong demonstrable data analytical skills.
  • You’ll have excellent programming skills such as Python, Java or Scala.
  • You will have strong leadership skills.
