Job Description

Acorn is looking for experienced Labourer / Operator in Cardiff.£8.91-£10.50 p/hMonday - FridayMain duties of job to include but not limited to:

  1. To work on a concrete batch plant and to be able to work manually.
  2. To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy, current HSE guidelines, and any additional site restrictions.
  3. To communicate and work effectively with fellow team members in order to progress works safely and efficiently through the workshop.
  4. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending scheduled training and toolbox talks.
  5. Support the wider team and departments in terms of ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when required.
Qualifications and skills:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Physically fit
  • Experience working within the steel industry / labouring / yard work ideal
