Job Description

We arecurrently recruitinga Labourer/ Re Work Operative (Days)to work with our well-established client in the outskirts of Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable organisation. If this sounds like the role for you, please submit your CV today!

  • Working in a busy manufacturing, Loading and unloading, re workng steel/rebar
  • Work in a safe manner and have a proactive approach to all Health & Safety and environmental issues.
  • Burn scrap coils and rebar with oxy and propane following a strict process in accordance with S.O.P and R/A.
  • Work with the reprocessing team
  • Identify and resolve issues with bundles and rebar and restore them.
  • To work on the conti production line, reworking coils and cutting them back to how they were in their prime.
  • Complete general housekeeping.
  • FULL TRAINING AND PPE PROVIDED.
    • Experience required:-Manufacturing experience - Production, Operating Machinery, Labouring , Heavy Industry or steel a strong advantage-Experience of manual workIn return you will receive an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation, positions are temporary/ long term ongoingRate of Pay: £8.54 per hourExcellent basic salary, weekly pay, free on site parking, full training and PPE supplied.Day Shifts , Monday to Friday 6am-2pmDue to the nature of the roles and industry, all successful applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment screening.
