Job Description

KS2 Teachers Wanted - CardiffSeptember StartFlexible WorkingAcademics are currently recruiting for KS2 teachers to begin working with us from the start of the next academic year. The ideal candidates are those who are enthusiastic and innovative in addition to possessing the necessary qualifications (PGCE, QTS, Bed).As an agency, we work with a plethora of schools and cover various areas of Cardiff such as

  • Llanishen
  • Ely
  • Fairwater
  • Canton
  • St Mellons
  • Roath
We want to speak to you regardless of you being a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or someone with more experience.You will need to demonstrate that you are capable of
  • Delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to a high standard
  • Managing a classroom
  • Working to deadlines
  • Creating innovative lessons that will capture the pupils imaginations
The essentials
  • An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two recent classroom based references
  • QTS Status (PGCE, BEd)
What to expect from Academics
  • Salary of between £140 & £180 per day
  • Full compliance with Agency Worker Regulation (AWR)
