Job Description

IT Support Technician Position in Cardiff: £25,000 annual salaryLooking for a new opportunity I am recruiting for an established IT team seeking an experienced candidate to join their supportive and friendly team.My client is a travel insurance broker that provides insurance to customers with medical conditions, often in older age groups. They prioritise service to their customers, allowing them to travel regardless of their age, destination, or medical condition.The company has received multiple awards over the years, including the Customer Care Award and Brand Management Award in the 2021 British Insurance Awards.*Hours and Benefits**

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with flexible approach between core hours

*Role Overview**
  • Provide daily support to all users, remote and on-site
  • Ensure all support tickets are resolved efficiently and within established SLAs
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve any hardware or application issues
  • Deploy new Windows desktops and laptops to users, on-site and remote
  • Escalate issues to internal and external support providers as needed
  • Contribute to IT Support Knowledge Base
  • Assist IT Operations Team with on-site requests
*Requirements**
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with Office 365, AzureAD, Active Directory, Exchange and Outlook Online administration
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop installations, management, and Office 365 applications
  • Ability to upgrade software on user devices, and conduct minor hardware intervention (battery, RAM module, or SSD replacement)
