IT Service Continuity Analyst - Chief Technical Office - CardiffHeard of usWere a nimble and ambitious financial services specialist. Now is your chanceThe role of IT Service Continuity Analyst is really important to us. You will develop and maintain our IT Service Continuity plans so that in an unforeseen event we can continue to provide outstanding customer service.When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Head Office, in the heart of Cardiff City Centre. In the meantime, you will be based remotely. Youll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager and colleagues, through regularcontact and virtual interaction. What would your day look like* Having a strong knowledge of relevant standards, regulation, and future direction of ITSC and ITDR* Designing, maintaining, and communicating Service Continuity plans for identified business critical systems to ensure ongoing service provision during disaster or similar events* Ensuring the IT resilience capability of the organisation aligns to Business Resilience requirements. Reviewing business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters* Document, schedule, plan and manage internal ITSC/DR testing of the groups critical IT services* Work closely with Project teams delivering new services with DR/Resilience capability ensuring all recovery documentation is complete and tested before accepting into BAU. * Ensure IT continuity test exercises are planned in an efficient and timely manner, and that all test documentation is communicated, understood and agreed by all Key Stakeholders and technical resources involved* Ensure all IT Service Continuity Plans are reviewed on a regular basis, and kept up to date* Ensure effective communication and coordination during ITSC Test exercises and any resulting issues that have been highlighted* Identifying IT Service Continuity risks and issues and raises them with the appropriate Risk & Compliance teams.* Produce, maintain, and deliver ITSC/DR Management Information* Ensure the groups key third party suppliers ITSC/DR policies and recovery plans are reviewed at least annually* Provide consultancy to projects and BAU teams when required.What do we expect of you* Demonstrable IT Service Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience. A basic understanding of Business Continuity would also be useful* Good communication, technical and remote collaboration skills are a must with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with staff at all levels* Thorough understanding of IT Service Management.
