As a Corporate IT Manager you will ensure that the business is able to operate smoothly through diligent administration of the hardware and software. Youllalso be asked to adapt our solutions as technology evolves so that we remain efficient and compliant so it is a perfect role for someone with brilliant ideas and forward thinking solutions.You will be joining an established Systems Administration team who have responsibility for managing their cutting edge infrastructure. A key element of the role will see you supporting a mix of Windows and Macintosh computers while also administering a rangeof SAAS applications. Beyond this, youll be tasked with managing employee on-and-off-boarding, helping new employees start to contribute as quickly as possible. Youll also be responsible for asset management, tracking the deployment of employee laptops andother mobile devices. While doing this you will be looking for ways to improve support services and the infrastructure in general so their staff have the best possible tools for the job.Theres a strategic aspect to this role too. As a SOC2 (Type 1) certified business they have IT protocols that need to be followed conscientiously. Youll need to manage and audit user access controls and ensure that corporate IT meets our compliance obligations.This will involve you planning and leading improvements to our corporate IT, driving the adoption of best practices.Their team is passionate, skilful and welcoming, and people enjoy working for them because of the trust, freedom and empowerment they are given. They strive to make everyone a key contributor in our ongoing success.What you need to succeed. You have experience of both administration and the audit process for SOC2 and/or ISO27001. You think logically and methodically and have a natural inclination towards documentation and organisation. You are passionate about technology and are eager to learn.Complexity does not frighten you. As the main point of contact for all team members around their hardware and software requirements, you are sociable and approachable, with strong communication skills. Youre pragmatic and sensible, conscientious and tenacious.Above everything, you have an appreciation for teamwork, and know how to articulate your opinions effectively. This is a hands-on IT Support role and they want someone to take ownership and make decisions, no tracking of pescy KPIs or Micromanagement.
