Job Description

Internal Quality Assurer - Health and Social CareLocation: RemoteSalary: £31,000 FTE (Pro Rata: £24,800) (30 hours a week)Contract: PermanentWe are recruiting a permanent, part time Quality Coordinator to join our Adult Education team, responsible for carrying out all aspects of quality improvement and assurance activity on Welsh City & Guilds Health and Social Care qualifications, up to Level 5.Within your role you will carry out formative and summative internal quality assurance, providing developmental feedback to Tutors on the quality of their assessment decision. You will work collaboratively across our divisions identifying delivery improvementsand implementing quality strategies and training solutions.Ideally located in Wales you will be home based with a requirement for ad-hoc travel to meetings. The hours for this role are 30 per week and can be worked flexibly between Monday - Friday.What are we looking forYou will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, maintain a customer first approach and always strive to be the best. In addition you should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Teaching and Learning Level 4 qualification or above
  • Occupational Competence Level 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Assessor award D32/D33 and V1 Internal Verification award or above
  • Extensive quality improvement and qualification assurance experience within a large organisation
  • Experience & knowledge of external auditory bodies such as Ofsted, Estyn and Matrix
  • Demonstrable ability to provide positive, motivational and developmental feedback
  • A best practice mindset and extensive knowledge of high-quality delivery within education
