Job Description

Job Title: Internal Sales ExecutiveLocation: CardiffSalary: 26k + BonusHours: Full timeBenefits: £500 bonus per quarter, Shorter working hours on Fridays - (8am - 1pm, 9am - 3pm), free parkingMy client a Global Manufacturing company based in Cardiff have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sales orders and customer queries are dealt with in a timelymanner.This role is initally a 6 month contract that would turn in to a permant role.Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

  • Review and prioritise incoming "Request for Quotes" in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Provide professionally presented technical proposals and quotations ensuring contractual, technical and commercial correctness including exceptions to specification and other pertinent data in accordance with customer requirements
  • Process inquires by phone and email, regarding order, pricing, shipping and payment terms and product specifications.
  • Maintain and improve good relations with external and internal customers.
  • Manage and monitor the proposal throughout the entire bid cycle including chasing quotes, updating and maintaining corresponding quote log activity and interfacing with engineering, production engineering and production planning
  • Responsible for sending out weekly open order book reports to customers
  • Provide support/assistance to others within the Sales Office Team when required
Experience and skills required for this position:
  • Display excellent communication skills
  • Be computer literate (Word, Excel, ERP systems)
  • An additional European language would be desirable
  • Demonstrates a working style which is team orientated and values participation and involvement of others
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of life cycle cost principles
