Infrastructure LeadCardiff (Hybrid)Salary up to £53,000 (depending on experience)CPS Group UK Ltd are working with a fast-growing organisation based in Cardiff, who are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Lead into their team. The purpose of this role is to lead the Infrastructure team and ensure infrastructure and security best practicesare ingrained into the team. You will need to set objectives and run monthly appraisals to ensure the team are aligned to the business objectives and values. Additionally, providing escalation support for the Infrastructure team and Service Desk team, ensuring a professional and securityminded conclusion to their issue is provided. You will supplement the technical knowledge within the team and take ownership of certain projects. The Infrastructure team are responsible for infrastructure and security monitoring, which also encompasses remediationof any vulnerabilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and coach members of the Infrastructure teamCyber/Infrastructure incident and alert monitoringCyber/Infrastructure incident remediationInfrastructure capacity managementConduct PMS, 121s and regular meetings with the Infrastructure teamThird Line support and technical escalation of a Microsoft based environmentConduct problem/root cause meetings for the Infrastructure teamPromote best practice and support continuous improvementDevelop, implement, and review workflow processes and documentationTask automationBackup monitoring, review and testingKnowledge/Experience:Experience of working as part of a small but busy IT team in a growing companyExperience of leading a small teamStrong Infrastructure experienceSecurity experience (desirable)Proven logical trouble shooting and problem-solving skillsHyper V Windows Server AD, Group Policies, PowershellO365 administration and migrationAzure, Intune Veeam backup experience would be an advantageNetwork switches, firewall, routing, VLAN, VPN and wirelessASaas and IaaSIf this sounds like the right role for you and you have the relevant skills/experience required, please send an updated CV to or call Aimee on for more information.By applying to this advert you are giving CPS Group (UK) Ltd authority to hold and process your data for this specific role and any other roles we may deem suitable to you over time.
