Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide, manage, support, maintain availability, performance, and security of the company infrastructure mainly cloud based but with an element of on-premise network infrastructureYou will collaborate with others to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. The role will also involve day to day operations and maintenance of Linux, windows servers hosted in a hybrid environment, Azure platform and M365.Key Skills/Experience

  • Engineering design, installation, implementation, and configuration as well as ongoing support of the Windows, Unix/Linux Infrastructure, PaaS and SaaS services within Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent knowledge of M365 and Microsoft Azure
  • Scripting and automation experience in Powershell or Bash
  • Provision/configure required software onto servers, such as web servers and databases.
  • Evaluate, improve, and maintain the Azure environment using automation and containerisation technologies.
  • Possess excellent knowledge base in DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP, and integration with Windows to solve functional or technical issues.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Page 3 of 4 JD_SMCR_MASTER_2020
  • Microsoft InTune for automated system deployments
  • Networking (DNS, TCP/IP) using Cisco, FortiGate, Barracuda, Aruba technologies
  • Experience with IPSec/SSL VPN, Load Balancing, SSH
  • LAN/WAN infrastructures, protocols, and technologies;
  • Microsoft Azure including IAAS and PAAS services
  • Maintenance and Administration of MySQL, MSSQL, Apache web configs and IIS logs
  • Telephony skills including VOIP and call recording
  • Full suite of Microsoft System Centre products
  • AD DS, Group Policy Management & Office 365
