In-house Commercial Solicitor Remote and flexible working optionsAre you a commercial solicitor looking for a thrilling new challenge Do you have a passion for justice and a desire to make a real difference in the world Then we have the perfect opportunity for you!We are seeking a talented and experienced commercial solicitor to join our dynamic inhouse team working with the police. In this role, you will be at the forefront of some of the most exciting and ground-breaking legal work in the country. This is a rareand highly interesting role, working on complex and engrossing matters, making every day different for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters and will play a key role in ensuring thatthe police operate in accordance with the law. This role can be totally remote and offers flexible working with working hours.What you will be doing in this role:As an In-house Commercial Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive legal service to the Chief Constable and the Police and Crime Commissioner, working on complex and escalated issues. You will also lead initiatives to improve businessprocesses and implement developments and improvements for the mutual benefit of the force and customers.The experience you need for this role:As a In-House Commercial Solicitor, you will be a qualified Solicitor with a breadth of experience across commercial areas, with a public procurement background.

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Work autonomously to solve problems.
