Job Description

HR Systems and Management Information Officer Hybrid The Opportunity Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-For-Profit has partnered with a civil service organisation in Cardiff Bay to recruit a HR Systems and Management Information Officer on a 1-year fixed contract. This is a hybrid working role but requirements to be in theoffice will be limited with flexibility depending on location. This is an exciting opportunity for an Excel wiz with a key background in systems. SC (Security Clearance) is required for this role. What the HR Systems and Management Information Officer will be doing As a HR Systems and Management Information Officer you will provide support across all teams in HR and reporting. You will be responsible for 3 key areas.

  • Working on ad-hoc specialist reports and meet a large number or reporting requirements for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Managing the day-to-day quarries on the payroll system and the self-service systems employee/managers use. Supporting the HR Systems and Management Information Manager with the application of upgrades
  • Providing additional support to the HR manager and projects office team to enable the procurement of a new Payroll/HR system.
What the successful HR Systems and Management Information Officer will bring to the team This role is ideal for someone with previous HR Systems and Management Information Officer experience ideally though other systems will be considered.
  • well advanced skill level in Microsoft packages, with advanced Excel skills
  • experience in working withing the payroll and HR systems, generating reports / information from an electronic system, ideally within a Payroll or HR context
  • Ability to adapt and learn new databases and systems.
  • Confident in speaking directly to staff members and stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of data protection

  • Salary ranged from £23,000-£30,000 DOE
  • 31 days annual leave per year+ 11 additional public/additional days
