HR Generalist / People and Development AssistantCardiff or Wrexham£Competitive Salary Our client currently has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources / Training individual to join their central HR team at what is an exciting time for the organisation as they continue to grow and thrive.They are looking for a proactive HR professional to provide a seamless and efficient HR generalist service to managers and colleagues across the Group, with a focus on training / performance management. You will provide comprehensive, pragmatic support,advising on a range of issues including personal development, performance management, absence management, recruitment, and you will take an active role in supporting and coaching managers. You will take the lead on the performance management system and process.Organised with a meticulous approach to work, you will develop training plans and work closely with 3rd party suppliers to ensure that their training content is relevant and meets the objectives. Staying up to date on best practice is an essential part ofthe role, as you will contribute to the roll out of continuous improvement projects and will be key in the development and implementation of key People and Development policies to the Group, ensuring compliance to all relevant legislation. With excellent attentionto detail, you will accurately record People and Development reports on absence, new starters, leavers and management reports, investigating trends to support the company and implement new induction programmes.CIPD qualified (or working towards), your specific experience should include wide-ranging aspects of coaching and training with a good understanding of People and Development policies and procedures. You’ll be accustomed to working with sensitive and confidentialinformation, liaising with people in a diplomatic manner. You will be confident when dealing with people at all levels through your ability to influence and effectively communicate, together with your proficiency to build effective working relationships. Thebusy nature of this role requires exceptional organisation skills coupled with the ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising on quality.
