Job Description

Our client, based on the outskirts of Cardiff is recruiting a HR Executive Assistant to work in an established and successful Head Office function.Our client forms the Head office function for a portfolio of business located across south Wales and the UK. They have a common ethos of professionalism, integrity, and innovation. At the heart of all the businesses are the people and so the culture is incrediblysupportive and development is its staff is of paramount important, in return they have a loyal and dedicated workforce.The new role will encompass both administrative support to the HR lead and the Board. The role will involve supporting all HR cyclical activities and provide the administration associated with the full employee lifecycle. The HR Executive Assistant willalso take on responsibility for the group HR system (training can be provided).This role would suit someone who has gained some HR Administrative skills and feels confident in their systems skills, enough to become the super user of the Group HR system.The JobHR

  • Responsible for all HR System activity, managing the Group HR system (Cascade).
  • Responsible for accurate maintenance of employee files and records.
  • Carry out regular audits of employee files to comply with GDPR.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies to arrange interviews during the recruitment process.
  • Regularly update Organisation Charts to reflect movements/changes in the business.
  • In conjunction with Group HR, coordinate the Group annual staff appraisal scheme and provide administration support in the production of the annual training plan.
  • Support with ad hoc HR projects.
  • Any other administrative tasks associated to the department.
Board
  • Arrange meetings and Board meetings, to include liaising with Group MDs, arranging flights, booking rooms and lunches and any other support which is required.
The person
  • Strong Administration experience.
  • Knowledge and or experience of systems is a priority.
  • Organised and efficient with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who can prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Excel and Office products.
  • Articulate in both written and verbal communication and able to amend style to meet the needs of different areas of the business.
  • Must be proficient in maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Approachable, open and able to work as part of a team.
Salary
  • Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
  • Holidays are 22 days plus bank holidays
  • Free use of on-site gym
