Job Description

Are you a Sustainability specialist with a background working with Project & Cost consultancies Would you relish the chance to establish an ESG service offering for a Commercial Building ConsultancyIf so, Moxie People is currently working with a leading Commercial Building Consultancy thats on the lookout for a proactive and driven sustainability specialist with the ability to develop a new service offering for clients across the UK.The role:

  • Liaising with clients and existing sub-consultants to develop new service lines, developing a local and national client base; actively seeking and winning new work
  • Working with individual project managers to ensure client specific benchmarks are achieved on refurbishment and new build construction projects
  • Maintaining fee forecast sheets and reporting to Partners on workload, forecasts, client proposals and potential new openings
  • Modelling a range of existing client properties to facilitate energy optimisation and decarbonisation
  • Liaising with sub-consultants to procure Level 5 Non-domestic EPCs, Energy audits, utilities optimisation, MEES reports, zero Carbon reports, health and wellbeing assessments, lifecycle Carbon analysis of buildings, waste management programmes and biodiversityAction Plans
  • Preparation of acquisition ESG reports
  • Carrying out feasibility studies, producing reports and working drawings
  • Dictating / writing of reports

The candidate:
  • Have proven technical knowledge - including BREEAM/ SKA and EPCs expertise, in particular for refurbishment and fit-out projects
  • Proven leadership experience, working as a senior manager or head of
  • Commercial awareness - the role will report into the board and require someone who can drive business performance
  • Recognised qualification in the sustainability/ ESG field
