You’ll seek to add value through accurate financial information and reporting and produce great financial results through effective finance business partnering.Your role will also involve:- Reporting to the Finance & Corporate Services Director- Providing technical and professional leadership for financial policies and systems- Planning, developing and evaluating financial policies and systems- Strategic financial planning and budgeting- Ensuring the prudent management and control of financial resourcesAbout YouTo be considered as the Head of Finance, you will need:- To be fully ACA qualified with a minimum of three years’ PQE- Experience of managing people, including inductions, development, appraisal, performance management, conflict management, motivation, and project management- Strong accounting skills in both manual and computerised accounting systems- Knowledge of accounting and payroll packages- Experience of collaborating with internal teams and other stakeholders- The ability to manage a varied workload- The ability to prioritise effectivelyKnowledge of Sage X3 and Snowdrop software systems would be beneficial to your application. A recognised payroll qualification obtained through CIPP or an equivalent recognised payroll body would also be advantageous.
