Finance is key to us maintaining a strong and stable business model, which enables us to deliver on our ambitious goals and continue to Inspire our Nation and Impress the World.So, if you are ready for an incredibly exciting challenge and are eager to further the arts within Wales, this is the perfect role for you.The RoleAs the Head of Finance, you will ensure the stability of our business model and drive value through all of our centre activities.Taking the lead on all risk and finance matters, you will be key to the development and delivery of processes and procedures that allow us to operate effectively and efficiently. You’ll seek to add value through accurate financial information and reporting and produce great financial results through effective finance business partnering.Your role will also involve:- Reporting to the Finance & Corporate Services Director- Providing technical and professional leadership for financial policies and systems- Planning, developing and evaluating financial policies and systems- Strategic financial planning and budgeting- Ensuring the prudent management and control of financial resourcesAbout YouTo be considered as the Head of Finance, you will need:- To be fully ACA qualified with a minimum of three years’ PQE- Experience of managing people, including inductions, development, appraisal, performance management, conflict management, motivation, and project management- Strong accounting skills in both manual and computerised accounting systems- Knowledge of accounting and payroll packages- Experience of collaborating with internal teams and other stakeholders- The ability to manage a varied workload- The ability to prioritise effectivelyKnowledge of Sage X3 and Snowdrop software systems would be beneficial to your application. A recognised payroll qualification obtained through CIPP or an equivalent recognised payroll body would also be advantageous.
