Acorn Executive Search is working in partnership with Cardiff Community Housing Association to recruit a Head of Communications / Marketing. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible to lead on CCHAs internal and external communications, developing and delivering the organisations strategic approach to communications, building the brand and working with colleagues to improve the customer experience for tenants and community members.Purpose of the role is to lead on CCHAs internal and external communications, developing and delivering the organisations strategic approach to communications, building the brand and working with colleagues to improve the customer experience for tenants and community members. Knowledge, Skills & Experience we are seeking:* Excellent leader who can inspire others through setting a clear vision and using coaching and other techniques to develop a high performing team* Highly creative with the ability to develop innovative communication ideas to support the organisations identity, values, and objectives* Vast experience of effective engagement with local and national media and a track record of positive PR delivery and crisis communications* Highly skilled in advanced communication techniques, with a well-developed understanding of different methods and messaging for different audiences * Proven experience of managing and protecting brand identity across different mediums* A solutions-orientated thinker, skilled influencer, negotiator, and relationship manager* An excellent communicator who can confidently and effectively work with tenants, community members staff, partners, and the Board * Experienced in the development of plans, strategies, and policies * Politically astute with the ability to influence within and outside the organisation, understanding the context in which housing associations work* Can develop and manage a customer driven service and ensure continuous improvement* Proven ability to analyse and solve complex problems* Able to prioritise to achieve targets and tight deadlines* Excellent budget management experience* Experience in planning and delivering communication/social media campaigns* Experience with Google Analytics / statistical reporting on social media and website* Experience with digital copyright, accessibility, and privacy* Experience in Search Engine Optimisation content writingFull role requirements, benefits and criteria is available in the Candidate Information Pack - apply to receive it or contact Luke Robert at Acorn Recruitment.
