A leading broadcast technology solutions company, based in Cardiff, is looking for a talented and ambitious GUI Developer to design and build various front-end web based applications.The role will be responsible for designing and improving graphical user interfaces for a new suite of applications, ensuring great usability, functionality and design innovation.The ideal candidate will have worked on similar projects, with any overlap across video and video editing being highly beneficial. You will need to have experience with GUI design and implementation, interaction test suites, a strong solution-based approachand ability to understand customer behaviour and user experience. You must also have 2+ years experience across the following front-end technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.Any experience working within the Broadcast and Media tech space would be highly advantageous, as would experience with storage systems, and cloud experience in particular. Frameworks such as Angular, REST, Spring Boot, Angular Material, Sass, Elasticsearch,S3, Java and React would also be highly beneficial; as would GIT / Version Control Systems, Maven, Jenkins, Jira and Linux.This role offers a great opportunity to join a close-knit team who are working at the forefront of Broadcast and Media technology solutions.Ideally the candidate would be commutable from Cardiff, but there is also the opportunity for someone to be fully remote.An exciting opportunity to continue expanding your skill set and become and integral part of both the project and team, please get in touch if this sounds like an ideal opportunity for you.
