Job Description

Hoop Professional Services are continuing to work with an amazing, values based charitable organisation who have an opportunity open for a new Finance Officer to join their team.They have cultivated an amazing company culture with a focus on employee wellbeing and work life balance. They offer hybrid, flexible working, the possibility for study support and other amazing benefits.The role will be a crucial hire for the team with this position providing crucial financial information for the organisation.Responsibilities include:

  • Purchase ledger= processing invoices, ensuring payment runs are accurate, reviewing creditor accounts, reconciling account statements, ensure payments are on time.
  • Manage the expenses process and any queries.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Petty cash management and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and reconcile the fixed asset register.
  • Post depreciation journal.
  • Credit control= review debtor accounts, ensure balances are meaningful, send statements, post income to the correct accounts.
  • General admin and ad hoc responsibilities
Person specification:
  • Charitable sector experience desirable but not essential.
  • At least two years experience, AAT is desirable.
  • SAGE50 knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong IT and Excel skills
  • Detail orientated, team player, self-starter
