Join us as we transform and deliver on this ambitious vision. This is the job Responsible for the financial management and reporting of the entire Driving School P&L. Managing and responsible for P&Ls, balance sheet and cashflow, plus KPI reporting.Key aspects of the core role include the leadership and delivery of forecasting, budgeting, planning, and decision support, all combined with an oversight over financial control and management reporting. The role will work closely with the Driving SchoolSMT, to ensure they are involved in shaping the strategic direction of the division.This role has responsibility and accountability across all areas of the Driving School, managing a team that business partners franchise acquisition, retention and pricing, Driving Instructor Training and Fleet management ensuring that all decision makinghas sufficient and accurate analysis, challenge, governance and review.The role provides all aspects of financial support to the business and their teams, including commercial support, challenge and strategic decision making. What will I be doing

• Have ownership and accountability for forecasting, budgeting and reporting of Revenue, EBITDA and PBT for areas of responsibility, understanding all elements of performance
• Have ownership of balance sheet and cashflow performance to ensure appropriate control and awareness of the AAs cashflow trajectory
• Responsible for maintaining and continually enhancing the forecast models for Driving Schools, complete with costs, revenue and KPIs, and use these for producing forecasting, business cases and sensitivity analysis
• Driving improvements in the financial control environment including the integrity of financial processes, balance sheet and cash flow management
• Responsible for the collation, validation, and oversight of the Driving School Balanced Scorecard
• Have ultimate ownership of the franchise pricing process, providing governance, detailed and accurate price and cost modelling and presenting to senior management within the Driving School.
  • Successfully lead day to day operational requirements in line with strategic priorities & objectives
  • In conjunction with the business, develop & implement strategies that increase the AAs income & profitability
  What do I need Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar level finance role
  • Strong finance business partnering skills and experience
  • Ability to work both at a detailed and strategic level transitioning between in-depth reviews with team members and then producing high level summary for senior management and exec level
  • Commercially minded
  • Ability to influence business decisions at senior executive level
  • Drive and manage change
  • Excellent communications skills at all levels of the business
  • Strong decision support skills and experience
  • Manage conflicting demands across a number of different areas and able to prioritise own time
  Education and Qualifications:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience gained in similar working environment
