Job Description

ROLE: Finance Assistant/Invoicing SpecialistLOCATION: Cardiff - hybridSALARY: £22,000 TO £24,000 [depending on experience] + great benefitsIMG is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.   • Bespoke client invoicing
  • Payment allocation
  • Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts and monitoring claims float levels
  • Examining invoices for VAT recovery
  • Credit control - Liaise with providers for cash calls and reimbursement of bordereau and fees
  • Preparing monthly claims insurance reports (bordereau) to underwriters
  • Inputting payments using online banking system
  • Liaise with providers for cash calls and reimbursement of bordereau and fees
  • Dealing with recoveries
  • Dealing with payment queries by email and telephone and managing mailbox
  • Support other finance functions when required, including:
    • Run batch and review claims payment settlement files
    • Upload claims settlement files to bank and Western Union
    • Uploading returns payment confirmation files to system
    • Investigating and managing queries on Western Union portal
    • Importing exchange rates daily
  • General finance administrative duties
  • Ad hoc duties as determined from time to time across all European entities

  • Educated to at least A level (Maths and English) or equivalent.
  • AAT preferable
  • Experience working in finance department (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience of working with multi-currencies would be advantageous
  • MS Excel (pivot tables, and formulas), Word and Outlook to intermediate standard
  • Exceptional level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a can do attitude
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills (both written and spoken)
  • Experience of making international payments advantageous
