Job Description

As a Finance Analyst you will be joining a very exciting corporate who are looking for a finance analyst to support their Finance and the Senior Management to make informed decisions about current and future projects.Client DetailsThe client has a rich history in bot the UK and Globally and has gone from strength to strength. Rapid expansion has followed over the last few years and new projects have opened even more doors for new and continuing clients. The client puts the peopleat the heart of everything they do.DescriptionJob duties for the commercial analyst include:

  • The month end processes, monthly reporting packs, P&L reviews & variance analysis
  • Writing commentary to include in business performance reports and hosting regular meetings with Partners to conduct Performance Reviews
  • Analytical support for the Commercial Finance Managers and Business Stakeholders
  • Delivering analysis that supports the Commercial Finance Manager in meeting key strategic requirements
  • Supporting on budgeting, planning and forecasting
  • Work in tandem with the rest of the Commercial team to ensure quality control and best practice is developed including streamlining processes and analysis
Profile
  • The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with building and delivering Powerpoint presentations
  • Experience of presenting information to senior stakeholders in a concise and easy to understand manner
  • You should have proven client-facing and organisational skills, with experience in a professional environment
  • You will also have good knowledge and practical experience of analysing and interpreting financial data and explaining your findings
  • You will be ambitious, client-focused and keen to deliver a good service to your stakeholders and able to work in a busy work environment, and used to working to strict deadlines.
Job OfferThe successful Finance Analyst will:
  • Be Based in South Wales, Cardiff
  • Received £30,000-£40,000 DOE
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension
