Job Description

Cobalt is working with a leading property management company with a strong reputation for excellence in managing residential and commercial properties.We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities/Estates Manager to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of properties, including a prestigious block and make a meaningful impact on the livesof residents.As a Facilities/Estates Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of a portfolio of properties within Cardiff.You will work closely with residents, contractors, and the wider property management team to ensure the smooth operation of these properties and enhance the overall living experience for residents.Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Regularly inspecting the properties within the estate/portfolio.
  • Building relationships with key tenant representatives and alongside the Estate Director liaising directly with the landlord;
  • Setting and managing service charge budgets;
  • Managing the planned and reactive maintenance programmes for building plant and fabric;
  • Ensuring full H&S compliance at all times and promoting sustainability;
  • Managing external suppliers for maintenance, security, cleaning, and other specialist services;
  • Assisting with the smooth running of on-site events from time-to-time.
As the successful applicant youll bring prior experience of managing a portfolio including common areas and plant rooms etc.An IOSH or AIRPM qualification is essential for this role, whilst further industry qualifications would be viewed in a positive light.Equally important, will be your relationship-building skills and ability to thrive in a unique role with tonnes of variety and no two days are the same.If you believe the above applies to you, please apply with your CV as soon as possible as this position may be filled before the date specified on this advert.
