Job Description

DIRECTOR OF DATA SCIENCEREMOTE£120,000 - £140,000COMPANY:Join a forward-thinking healthcare organization committed to revolutionizing the industry through the power of data-driven insights. Leveraging clinical trial and survey data, our clients company strives to innovate, improve patient outcomes, and optimizehealthcare solutions. We are actively seeking a Director of Data Science to lead their accomplished team and shape the landscape of healthcare analytics.ROLE:

  • Directly engage with clients to comprehend their business objectives, challenges, and healthcare-related opportunities.
  • Translate intricate data science concepts into compelling narratives for clients, showcasing the value of data-driven insights in healthcare decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate client feedback into the development and implementation of data-driven solutions.
  • Lead the creation of client-facing reports, presentations, and other deliverables to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advances in data science to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
  • Work closely with the sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and retention.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ph.D. or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (minimum 6 years) in data science roles, with a specific focus on healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing high-performing data science teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience using relevant data science tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial and survey data, and its application in healthcare analytics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
