Acorn is currently working with our client within the NHS in the Fairwater area of Cardiff for a Delivery / Collections Driver.Band 237.25 hours per weekMain purple of the role:* Provide a safe and reliable delivery service of posture and mobility equipment from the Posture and Mobility Centre (PMC) to patients across South Wales.Responsibilities of the Delivery / Collections Driver: * Deliver and collect of returned equipment to and from patients homes / residences. * Demonstrate and simple adjustment of mobility equipment as per instructions. * Assist in the movement of stock from PMC to Hospitals / Wards / Departments / Clinics / Health Centres / Special Schools / GP Surgeries within the catchment area. * Delivery and collection of mobility equipment to and from other Health Service premises. * Use IT based systems and equipment to deliver and issue stock. * Dispose of packaging and waste within the waste management system as per department protocols. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment in PMC and in work vans with particular reference to Infection Control.* Maintain van stock.* Day to day cleaning and general care of all equipment and vehicles.* Loading and unloading of vans.
