Job Description

Reporting to the IT Director, this expanding Manufacturer require a Database / Systems & Reports Analyst to support the development and maintenance of a new company wide ERP system (IFS / Oracle / Crystal Reports) with a proactive customer and business focus. You will also be responsible in supporting the business analytical requirements from the outgoing ERP solution and other business systemsClient DetailsLeading ManufacturerDescriptionReporting to the IT Director, this expanding Manufacturer require a Database / Systems & Reports Analyst to support the development and maintenance of a new company wide ERP system (IFS / Oracle / Crystal Reports) with a proactive customer and business focus. You will also be responsible in supporting the business analytical requirements from the outgoing ERP solution and other business systemsKey Skills required:

  • Understanding of key processes and reporting technologies
  • Understanding of SQL and Crystal Reports
  • Good understanding of SQL or PL/SQL
  • Writing complex queries to facilitate IAL views for reports
  • Creating custom procedures/functions to facilitate business needs
  • Develop APIs
  • Experience of data migration scripting (export / import)
  • Experience of data table mapping
  • Experience of working with ERP solutions preferable
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Toolset
  • Working knowledge of html and CSS and and any scripting experience would be beneficial
  • Understands the principles of XML / XSLT
  • Detailed knowledge of database management system (DBMS) physical implementation, including tables, joins and SQL or PL/SQL querying
  • Analytical and able to thoroughly investigate application problems as reported
  • Can identify root causes to problems and engage other 3rd party application support resources to ensure that both symptoms and causes are tackled
