As a Data Engineer with circa 2+ years experience working with data systems, you will be joining a major corporate company in Cardiff who are undertaking the implementation of their data strategy and will focus on delivering data solutions that enable the organisation to make informed business decisions.Looking to expand their team of Data Engineers to ultimately work within a DataOps environment, the team creates, designs and manages data pipelines, integrating those into their data zones. In addition, they create superb visualisations that give the business value from its data.With a commitment from the business to continue the learning & expansion of their Data Engineer skillsets, the Data Engineer will have opportunities to add Wherescape, PowerBI, Snowflake, Azure, MS SQL Server, Kafka, Redgate, Git, Jenkins and the languages that underpin them to your toolset. With their journey towards continuous integration and deployment of their data products just starting, Data Engineers who have CI/CD experience will be at an advantage.Skills & Attributes:Circa 2+ years’ experience working within data with a passion to learn & grow your expertise.Good communications skills, credible & comfortable with holding conflicting opinions.Good team work ethics.Strong SQL and a good understanding of databases eg.
