Data Cabling Lead Engineer Location: Cardiff Start date: ASAP Job Type: Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 Per annum + company vehicle Allied Resource are currently recruiting for a Data Cabling Lead Engineer / Supervisor with strong Supervisory experience to work for a fantastic company based in the Southwest. The successful candidate will lead and motivate a team of field-based engineerson various structured cabling projects. The company operates UK wide and throughout Europe delivering Telecoms services, so travel to various sites may be required. Responsibilities: - - Successfully manage on site data cabling teams, ensuring that your team deliver to a high standard and targets are met - Deal with any issues on site in a professional manner. - Ensure H&S is always adhered to. - Dealing with the customer on a regular basis and managing expectations. - Keep all site documentation up to date and report into the project manager on a regular basis. - Responsible for the completion of the following tasks on site: Structured Cabling and Installation of Wireless Access Points and Cabinets / Wireless point to point link installation / Data termination, testing and documentation (RJ45, Patch Panels). - Ensure that your team remains properly trained and motivated. Must Have: - - Strong data cabling background and network installation experience. - Great knowledge of all structured cabling systems (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6A, Fibre Optics). - Experience working in a customer facing environment. - Full UK Driving licence.
