Job Description

Customer Service AdvisorLocation: CardiffPay Rate : £10.32 per hourPart of Lloyds Banking Group, Black Horseis the UKs leading independent provider of non-captive motor finance, providing point-of-sale finance to over 900k end customers supporting them to purchase their vehicle of choice through 4,700 dealerships - whether cars, motorbikes, caravans or motorhomes. We have partnerships and joint ventures with several leading vehicle manufacturers, and we support car fleet operators through our Fleet & Wholesale stocking and fleet finance solutions. Within this part of our business we are looking to recruit temporary Customer Service Advisors, so if you have a talent for Customer Service, we would love to hear from you.Working in our busy contact centre teams, you will be the first point of contact applying customer service expertise to new and existing customers with their financial & service needs via a range of channels.You will build effective trusted relationships with our customers on every call you take, and by listening carefully and asking the right questions, youll identify and promote the best possible outcome.This is a key role where you’ll make a real difference to our customers experience.To be successful you’ll need to be able to demonstrate previous strong customer service experience, motor vehicle industry experience would be great, but don’t worry if you don’t have that, as long as you can show us you’re passionate about customer service we’d be interested in finding out more about you. You’ll need to be hard-working with a great attention to detail and a fantastic attitude towards your customers.ROLE:

  • 12 month temporary role
  • Working patterns: Monday-Friday between 08:00 to 20:00, Saturday 08:00-18:00 and Sunday 08:00 – 16:00 worked on a rotational basis
  • 35 hours a week
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage inbound customer calls
  • Take complete ownership of customer problems
  • Respond to telephony, digital and admin based customer queries
  • Investigate complex enquiries through to solution
  • SKILLS:
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent customer service and administrative skills
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Ability to embrace in the moment coaching to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas
