Job Description

We are thrilled to be partnering with our fantastic client based in Cardiff, to recruit a CRM & Data Project Manager for a fixed term contract of 18 months, to lead on the specification, installation, and development of a brand new Customer Relationship Management System.This is a key hire for the company, and will ensure the future-proofing of their digital customer offering and communications. You will work collaboratively across the company to ensure the CRM is bespoke, effective and supports the companys growth strategy long into the future.The Role:

  • Research & manage suppliers, and benchmark with industry leaders and consultants to define a best practice approach for the companys commercial platforms.
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Media and the Commercial Platform project to integrate the CRM with other platforms, such as EPOS, Website and Ticketing.
  • Plan and deliver strategies for future phases of the projects development to include other functions.
  • Support the Head of Digital in the overall project planning for Commercial Platforms and strategic planning for the department.
  • Lead on the development of a spec for a CRM product that meets the needs of the company vision, future proofing the customer operation for the next 10 years.
  • Lead on the wider implementation of commercial platforms across the digital estate, ensuring close integration with e-commerce, EPOS, email marketing and website.
  • Manage suppliers and stakeholders in the procurement and adoption of a new CRM system.
  • Implement insight services and products, such as PowerBI.
  • Communicate updates and progress reports with internal stakeholders.
  • Migrate legacy data to the new system and decommissioning or archiving of legacy systems.
  • Oversee management of the system users, such as Marketing and Communications, as well as developing training programmes and support policies.
  • Manage the segmentation of users to key departments for improved customer targeting.
  • The Person:
  • An exceptionally digitally literate candidate, with experience in leading / delivering high profile commercial digital projects.
  • Highly focused on the customer and end user needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively and confidently at all levels.
  • A collaborative approach to team working and building networks to achieve project goals.
  • Highly developed understanding of CRM products and systems and their implementation.
  • Knowledge of developing and managing digital products and services in a commercial context.
  • Strong understanding of managing customer datasets, GDPR, and the maintenance and cleansing of CRM databases.
  • Good understanding of business insight services and products.
  • Experience of delivering training for newly implemented digital products.
  • Experience of managing projects and working with a small team focused on delivery.
  • Experience of engaging with users to ensuring a user-focused approach to digital products.
