Job Description

Currently seeking a diligent and detail-orientedCredit Control Clerk to join the esteemed team on a part time basis. (20-25 hours per week).As a Credit Control Clerk, you will be an invaluable member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing the credit control processes. Your pivotal role involves meticulously managing account records, vigilantly monitoring outstanding debts, and ensuringpunctual payments to fortify the financial stability.Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Surveillance: Regularly scrutinise customer accounts to guarantee the prompt receipt of payments.
  • Debt Recovery: Initiate contact with customers possessing outstanding balances, adeptly providing payment reminders and effectively resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Account Reconciliation: Uphold meticulously accurate records of accounts, payments, and adjustments.
  • Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries and extend support with account-related matters.
  • Credit Limit Evaluation: Assess and recommend appropriate credit limits for customers.
  • Reporting Expertise: Skilfully prepare and deliver reports on credit control activities to the finance team.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Assure unwavering compliance with our companys credit policies and procedures.
  • Document Management: Maintain an orderly and up-to-date repository of customer interactions and payments.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate harmoniously with internal teams to resolve billing and payment challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Foundation: Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, with additional education in finance considered an asset.
  • Proven Proficiency: Exhibit a track record of success in credit control, debt collection, or related fields.
  • Credit Control Acumen: Demonstrate a strong grasp of credit control principles and best practices.
  • Communication Prowess: Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Display proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular expertise in Excel.
  • Detail-Oriented: Uphold a meticulous attention to detail and possess robust organisational skills.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrate a knack for resolving issues while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
