Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant with experience to join a successful Residential Conveyancing Team based at a well-known firm in South Wales. The firm are very flexible on office location and this role can be based from either their Cowbridge,Chepstow or Cardiff office. The successful candidate will be working alongside a thriving team, this is a full-time, permanent position.Role responsibilitiesThe incoming Conveyancing Assistant will be part of the Residential Conveyancing Team providing assistance and support to a team of Residential Conveyancers. The role will involve assisting on a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity, new builds, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership and staircasing. You will be responsible for tasks such as taking initial client instructions, sending out initial client care letters, ID checks, searches, producing contract packs, drafting TR1s, preparing AP1s, payment of Stamp Duty Land Tax and dealing with registration at the Land Registry.Person specificationApplications are sought from Legal Assistants with at least 12 months experience in Residential Conveyancing.
