Job Description

A Field Service Engineer with experience of servicing and maintaining Compressed Air equipment is needed by a growing company in the Cardiff areaReporting to the Lead Service Engineer you work with customers throughout Wales and the South West of England, providing advice, diagnostics, routine maintenance and emergency help whenever/wherever needed on a range of compressed air systemsNEW ROLEYour main responsibilities will be: -

  • Planned and preventative maintenance of compressed air systems and blowers
  • Emergency breakdown fault finding and repair
  • Install and commission air compressors, blowers and associated ancillary equipment
  • Aluminium & Steel pipework installations
  • Complete service reports, timesheets and recommendations in a timely manner
  • Recommend additional work that assists the customers and enhances performance
  • Maintain good professional working relationships with all existing customers and help with development of new customers
  • Comply with both customer health and safety environmental procedures
KEY SKILLSThe ideal candidate will have experience of servicing and maintaining compressed air systems and can be Mechanically or Electrically biased. Previous experience in field-based role is essential as is the ability to work overtime as required with some occasionalnights away. Excellent interpersonal skills, a good level of IT proficiency and the desire to provide high quality workmanship are needed.
