We provide opportunities for people to enjoy and learn about the natural world and for young people to develop an understanding of environmental issues and wildlife.Many people have found solace in nature throughout the Covid 19 pandemic, and there is enhanced recognition of just how important and precious nature is. The need to act amidst the nature and climate emergency is clear. This role will help facilitate positiveimpact on nature and help RSPB Cymru and people of Wales play an active part in tackling this twin crisis.What does the role involveYour work will include motivating and inspiring individuals to fundraise for RSPB Cymru through a range of ways. As a key part of the fundraising team, you will support the delivery of fundraising targets as well as developing other ways to involve peoplein fundraising for RSPB Cymru. You will also have specific responsibility for income generation from volunteer networks using our popular pin badges.Crucial to your role will be building a strong and lasting relationship with colleagues and volunteers, positively engaging with members of the public and maximising all fundraising opportunities from communities across Wales. This can include activitiesand events, online fundraising, engaging with projects and creatively growing support for our nature reserves.If you are approachable, organised, enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to contributing to the conservation of some of Waless most precious wildlife, then we want to hear from you!Key result areas:
